I was born
in the small town of Racine, Wisconsin, so I guess I'm kind of a
cheese-head from birth. My father's work brought us to
Washington, DC when I was three. My mother told me that I was
always saying, "I live in Washington ABC!" Later on, I certainly
learned the ABCs of living in Washington! Anyway, I loved being
in front of the
camera
and on stage from a very early age! My mother always saw my
desire to perform and helped to nurture and encourage me by
enrolling me in ballet, tab, jazz, & gymnastics lessons as a
child. While in grade and high school I think I participated in
every school talent show, plays, cheer leading, etc.
After graduating from Robinson High School in Fairfax, VA. I
moved to Maryland for a few years to attend a local community
collage. I chose to major in radio/TV broadcasting, and I worked
as a model/waitress to make a modest living. Primarily doing
local convention shows, fashion shows, and promotional modeling
work. I got my big break into the industry when Playboy came to
town and had an open call for their "Women of Washington" issue.
From what I understand, me and about 4,449 other girls that
lived in the Washington, DC metropolitan area went to the
audition as hopefuls. To my surprise, I ended up being one of
the 16 girls that they selected to appear in the spread. I was
then flown up to Chicago to shoot with renowned Playboy
photographer David Chan...and it was great!!
This opened incredible doors for me, and I've been working in
all areas of the industry ever since. Playboy has been keeping
me busy too, by the way! Also see me in Playboy's "Girls of the
World," The Playmate 2000 Model Search, Playboy's Nudes (letters
to the editor), Playboy TV, and most recent, Playboy's Pen Pals
only available to Playboy Cyber Club members!! |
