"Once there was a
little girl, with a little curl, right in the middle of her
forehead. And when she was good she was very, very good, and
when she was bad she was horrid!"
My mother always loved that nursery rhyme, and she often
suggested that it must have been written with me in mind.
I grew up in Detroit, Michigan, a brown-skinned, green-eyed
girly girl that adored dogs, riding her bike, playing baseball
with her brother Tony and writing in her journals. But most of
all, a girl that loved to be the center of attention!
At an early age it became apparent that I loved performing. I
tormented my younger brother by dressing him up and making him
lip sync to Donna Summers songs and perform silly plays with me.
I loved to make people smile. Yes, the entertainment bug bit me
at a young age.
The “bug” continued throughout my school years. I begged for
ballet and tap lessons. I took up the violin, bass, guitar and
singing lessons. I starred in various local theatre productions.
At 17, I began singing in a local Detroit band called “God’s
Girlfriend.” Meanwhile, something else was happening. I was
growing out of an awkward stage and becoming a very pretty girl!
As my transformation took place, I realized I had another love:
showing off the attributes I had so recently gained! During
college I took up lingerie modeling and loved it. I was an art
student after all, so the nude figure wasn’t shocking to me.
Even as a little girl, I had always had a strange fascination
with pin-up girls, so it was only fitting that I should become
one!
While I loved my life in Detroit, I wanted to go to place where
I could take my performing and modeling to a new level. Where
else but California? As scary of a prospect as it was for me to
leave my family and friends behind, I knew I had to go.
Moving to Los Angeles turned out to be the best decision I ever
made! I got an agent and a manager and began to audition. Since
then, I have appeared in TV commercials, on network television,
and in films. Many of you know me from Playboy TV’s “Sexy Girls
Next Door” and “The Weekend Flash.” I’ve also been featured in
Playboy Magazine (50th Anniversary Edition) and the “Women of
Island Paradise 2004” calendar. Now, I bring you my very own
website! |
