At around 1'oclock am on June 3 a feisty 4th generation (Yonsei) Japanese baby girl was born in the Los Angeles Hospital. Little did they know she would grow up to be such a typical Gemini, otherwise they might have reconsidered conceiving at the time they did. =)

My parents divorced when I was around 4 years old, my younger brother was 2 years old at the time. It was extremely devastating for me as I was very close to my dad. How was a young girl supposed to understand what was happening? All she knew at the time was she was "Daddy's girl" and daddy was no longer around. It was all so very sad watching my Mom struggle trying to raise two kids on her own. My mom re-married and my stepfather practically raised me.

I grew up in the South Bay, and boy was I a bad, bad girl. I didn't skip out on any of the teenage nuisances. Everything from bad grades to fist fights ( don't get me wrong, I was a total girlie girl, I don't think I was able to part with my Barbie's and Cabbage Patch dolls until early high school). From elementary to high school I never got good conduct grades, the teachers would always write comments like "socializes to much during class time" or "talks to much when supposed to be working". What can I say? Gemini's are natural social butterflies! Nonetheless, I was always a good girl at heart.

I was very active as far as sports and recreational activities were concerned. In my earlier years I took classes in ballet, tap and jazz. I later took classes in Hula. I also played softball and basketball for the local Japanese leagues from elementary to high school. My parents truly believed that if they kept me active I would keep away from boys and stay out of trouble! Did it work? No ;)

I left home right out of high school and have lived on my own independently since then. I am close with my family (mom, step-father and brother), I hardly ever see or talk to my birth father whom lives in the San Fernando Valley. I do however keep in touch with my grandparents from my father's side, aren't grandparents just the best? =)
